When you register you will be asked to select one of the groups of different charities we've put together - there are groups based on where they operate (e.g. our 'Make a Difference in Africa' list), groups based on gift price (e.g. our 'Up to £40' list), as well as groups containing a broad selection of both charities that work at home and charities that work overseas. The shows you just some of these gifts.
Once you give your
family and friends the details, they simply log on and pick a gift, or
gifts, from the selection of charities on your list. They then provide some details to enable us to reclaim Gift Aid from
the taxman, and pay for these gifts online (through Secure Trading, the UK's leading independent internet payment service provider). There are no hidden extra costs for your guests.
Your family and friends get a receipt for their donation, you can log on whenever
you want to find out who has donated to which charities, and we will
send you a certificate after your big day confirming totals
donated to each charity. |
100% of your family and friends donations
will go to the charity whose gift they have selected.
We then reclaim Gift Aid from the taxman on behalf of the charities.
We use some of this to fund the service (card processing costs,
administration, marketing etc) and pass on the remainder to the
participating charities.
Participating
charities regularly review our expenditure and help us keep
the service as efficient as possible. |
